Research

My scientific interests are located at the intersection between statistical physics, fluid mechanics and scientific computing. I am interested in all things that flow; but currently my research mainly revolves around pore-scale flow phenomena in the presence of the many complex interfaces that appear in porous and geophysical media. I gain insight into these phenomena by combining high-performance numerical simulations and methods from statistical physics.

My main research project is Mixing in multiphase flow through microporous media (M4) which is funded by the Research Council of Norway through the Young Research Talents programme.
